Reverb is the inevitable conclusion continues a focus on how we go about remembering.
When you’ve been waiting for something your whole life how do you martial your senses and give it proper attention when it finally occurs? Will you greet it’s arrival on your knees or standing up like a . . . man? and does it really matter?
Do your years of bated breath and
glassy eyed gazes make the event more momentous or just kind of tricky to share
with other people? I mean really share.
Do you recount this experience in
the same manner to an old friend, a jealous lover and your own mother? Then,
once you’ve finished your story and you’re standing there awaiting a
response/judgement/uncomfortable squirm, do you still feel the same way about
it as you did before you opened your big fat mouth?
